– KING OF PEACE –

Picture
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the King of Peace. The colour blue symbolizes peace, red the sacrifice and suffering Jesus went through in order to save humanity, and yellow represents hope and Jesus as the Light of the World. Jesus is painted in blue, which is the colour of our heavenly Father. This shows that Jesus is the image of the Father. Jesus said: "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9). The three persons of the Holy Trinity — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — are clearly and boldly represented in King of Peace by the use of the three primary colours. Blue is the colour of our heavenly Father, the colour of peace. Red of Jesus Christ, the colour of sacrifice. And yellow of the Holy Spirit, the colour of light.
